Park Jungpil, the CEO of Joong Won Engineering Inc., has donated 100 million won for the remodeling of the Student Union at Korea University Sejong Campus.

 

On September 26, Korea University Sejong Campus held the ‘Student Union Remodeling Fund Pledge Ceremony.’ The donation will be used for the remodeling of the Student Union, providing a better environment for students and contributing to the enhancement of student welfare.

 

CEO Park founded Joong Won Engineering Inc. in 1997 and has grown it into a global construction equipment manufacturing company. He continuously returns the value of sharing to society and his alma mater, fulfilling the responsibilities of noblesse oblige.

 

In recognition of his contributions, CEO Park was awarded the ‘Proud Korea University Sejong Person Award’ in March. This award, now in its seventh year, is given to individuals who have made significant contributions to the development and external stature of Korea University Sejong Campus.

 

On a related note, Korea University Sejong Campus is conducting a fundraising campaign called ‘KUS Circle for Miracle’ to support the remodeling of the Students Union.
