From October 28 to November 2, the Sejong Humanities City Project Team at Korea University Sejong Campus held the ‘2024 19th Humanities Week, Humanities in the Age of Artificial Intelligence: Sejong Smart City and Hangeul Culture’ event.
This event is the largest humanities festival in the country, conducted in collaboration with the Humanities City Project and the Humanities Korea Plus Project across 49 institutions nationwide. The program included a variety of events such as an opening ceremony, performances, relay talk concerts, humanities lectures, special performances, and hands-on humanities experiences.
Ahn Namil, Director of the Sejong Humanities City Project Team, stated, "Through network collaboration with Sejong City, we aim to discover and activate local humanities resources and cooperative systems, providing an opportunity for Sejong citizens to engage with the humanities. We will do our best to align with the project's goal of creating a 'SMART Humanities City Sejong for a Better Life.'"
