Laying the Foundation for Strengthening ICC Activation and Preparing for the RISE System through Regional Collaborative Networks

 

Korea University Sejong LINC 3.0 Foundation ICC Central Center has signed a MOU with the Manufacturing Innovation Materials & Components ICC of Kongju National University to establish a network for sharing and cooperation.

 

On September 24, the MOU ceremony took place at the Research and Business Cooperation Building of the Sejong Campus, with around 10 representatives from the ICCs of both universities in attendance to reaffirm the significance of their collaboration.

 

The agreement commits both institutions to operate joint programs for ICC sharing and cooperation, promote various initiatives under the LINC 3.0 project to strengthen research and business cooperation, and work together to foster human resources and nurture entrepreneurial universities. Furthermore, the institutions discussed strategies for ICC collaboration in preparation for the transition to the RISE system and explored ways to enhance connections between local, industry, university, and research activities.

 

Director Yoo Jaehyun of the ICC Central Center stated, “This agreement serves as a platform to share strategies for strengthening regional collaboration under the LINC 3.0 project and for transitioning to the RISE system, centered around the third annual forum of the collaboration-based ICC Council. We will actively utilize the capabilities and resources of both universities to continuously pursue joint projects within the regional ICCs, building a foundation to advance towards the RISE system.”

 

On a related note, as it enters its third year, the ICC Central Center has been solidifying an inter-university network for sharing and collaboration based on the three core ICCs specialized in each university’s strengths, achieving outstanding results in research and business cooperation in preparation for the RISE system.
