Korea University Sejong Campus received a donation of 2,000 kg of rice from NH Nonghyup Bank Sejong Headquarters to support the ongoing ‘1,000 Won Breakfast’ initiative, which aims to foster healthy eating habits among students and alleviate their financial burden.
On October 29, the donation ceremony, held at Korea University Sejong Campus, was attended by Vice President Kim Young, Director Kim Junghak of the Office of Admissions and Public Relations, Head Hong Soonok of NH Nonghyup Bank Sejong Headquarters, Director Kim Sanghee, of Jochiwon Financial Center, and eight other representatives.
Vice President Kim stated, “We are thankful for the meaningful support from NH Nonghyup Bank Sejong Headquarters again this year. We will continue to actively support students so they can enjoy a nutritious breakfast and have a vibrant campus life despite rising prices.”
Head Hong stated, “We hope this donation will allow students to focus on their studies in a better environment, and we will continue to work towards coexisting with the local community and the university.”
On a related note, The ‘1,000 Won Breakfast’ is a student welfare initiative designed to provide nutritious meals at an affordable price for students who find it challenging to secure meals due to inflation and other external factors.
