On October 29, Korea University Sejong Campus held a donation plaque ceremony at the Suk Won Hall in honor of CEO Park Jungpil of Joongwon Engineering. Originally, CEO Park donated 100 million won for the remodeling of the Students Union Building; however, in accordance with his wishes, the plaque was installed at Ji Gwan Jeong instead. The plaque includes e-x-p-r-e-s-s-i-o-ns of gratitude toward Professor Jung Gyunhwa, the founding advisor of Ji Gwan Jeong, as well as other professors who have dedicated their efforts to it.
Attending the plaque ceremony were Vice President Kim Young, Dean Kim Rang Hyeyun of the College of Global Business, Director Kim Junghak of the Office of Admissions and Public Relations, Honorary Professor Jung Gyunhwa of Global Business, along with CEO Park, Director Jo Youngkyun of IZEN Pharma Korea, CEO Kang Panmook of Leaders World, and CEO Lim Jongchul of Sema Partners.
Vice President Kim stated, "Ji Gwan Jeong, established in 1985, is a proud CPA preparatory group at Korea University Sejong Campus, having produced over 110 certified public accountants and tax accountants. Thanks to the support of our distinguished professors and alumni, we have achieved outstanding results."
Dean Kim stated, "We are always grateful for the support from alumni for the university and Ji Gwan Jeong, and we look forward to continued interest and support in the future."
CEO Park stated, “I am so grateful to Professor Jung Gyunhwa, Professor Jeong Gyueon, Professor Oh Gwangwook, Professor Lee Dongheon, and Professor Jang Hoon, who have provided guidance and support to make Ji Gwan Jeong what it is today. I would also like to emphasize my commitment to working with alumni to further develop the university and Ji Gwan Jeong.”
On a related note, Ji Gwan Jeong, meaning ‘a place of pursuing one's aspirations,’ is a CPA and tax accountant preparatory group within the College of Global Business at Korea University Sejong Campus. Established in 1985 by the suggestion of Professor Jung Gyunhwa, the founding advisor of Ji Gwan Jeong, and currently housed in the Second Science and Technology Building Ⅱ, it boasts a history of over 30 years and has produced around 110 successful candidates in CPA and tax accountant exams, carrying on its esteemed reputation to this day.
